Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about accounts, licenses, downloads, updates, and the occasional technical gremlin.
Account & purchases
3 questionsWhere do I find my licenses and downloads?
Sign in with your verified purchase email and open Account. Your licenses, active computers, and available installers all live there—no treasure map required.
Why is a purchase missing from my account?
First, make sure your account email is verified and matches the one used at checkout. Give the Account page a refresh after payment completes. Still missing? Send support the Paddle transaction ID from your receipt and we will help track it down.
Can I use a different email after purchasing?
Purchases are automatically linked to the verified account used at checkout. If you need to change emails, contact support before creating another account. Duplicate accounts tend to make a simple change much less simple.
Licensing & computers
4 questionsHow many computers can I activate?
A standard license typically allows up to three active computers—handy for a studio machine, a laptop, and a backup. Promotional or free licenses may use a different limit, commonly two. You can always find the exact number and your current active computers under Account → Licenses.
Do I need an internet connection to use the plugin?
An internet connection is required to activate the plugin. After that, a perpetual license can be used offline. The plugin may periodically verify the license when an internet connection is available, but being offline will not interrupt your work. Trials and other time-limited licenses still stop at their expiration date.
Do I need an iLok for AAX or Pro Tools?
No. Our AAX plugins use Biggie Boy Audio licensing, so no iLok is required. You only need a supported Pro Tools version and internet access for initial activation.
How do I move a license to another computer?
Open Account → Licenses, expand the product, and deactivate the old computer. You do not need access to it, so a dead hard drive does not get the final say. Then activate the product on your replacement computer. If the old activation is missing or will not deactivate, contact support.
Downloads & updates
3 questionsWhy does an installer say it is unavailable?
Usually, one of three things is missing: a verified account, an eligible active license, or a published installer for that platform. A product may appear in your account before every installer is ready, so “unavailable” can simply mean it is still on the way.
How do I download an installer?
Open Account → Downloads and choose your platform. After checking your account and license, the site creates a short-lived private link. If it expires, just request another—no penalty and no need to race the clock.
Are product updates included?
Yes. Maintenance updates, bug fixes, and installer revisions for products you own are included at no extra cost. If we ever release a separate paid major upgrade, it will be clearly labeled before purchase—no surprise tollbooths.
Installation & support
3 questionsWhich systems and plugin formats are supported?
Each product page and manual lists its supported operating systems and plugin formats. Support can differ by product and release, so give those details a quick look before purchase. Compatibility is not a fun place for surprises.
What should I include in a support request?
Include the product, version, operating system, DAW or host, and the exact error message. For purchase issues, add the Paddle transaction ID. A little detail saves everyone a round of detective work. Please never send passwords, authentication tokens, or private signing material.
How do refunds work?
Paddle is the merchant of record and handles refund requests for eligible purchases. Review our refund policy for the details, then use the buyer-support link in your Paddle receipt or visit Paddle Buyer Support to request a refund. Once a refund is completed, access to that product ends. Read our Refund Policy → Request a refund through Paddle ↗
