Who We Are

Biggie Boy Audio LLC ("Biggie Boy Audio," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and related account, download, licensing, support, and product update services. You can contact us at support@biggieboyaudio.com.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including email addresses, account credentials handled through Firebase Authentication, launch signup submissions, contact form messages, support requests, and information you provide when creating or managing an account.

We also collect product access information, including license records, free license claims, download availability, purchase or payment references, refund status where applicable, activation limits, and account activity needed to provide and protect software access.

When you use the website or account system, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, request logs, App Check or reCAPTCHA signals, security events, and diagnostic information.

Accounts, Licenses, and Downloads

Account features are provided with Firebase Authentication and Google Cloud/Firebase services. We use account information to verify identity, sync account profiles, show licenses and downloads, manage free and paid product access, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Free product licenses are tied to verified accounts so we can provide license keys, downloads, activation limits, and support without sending a zero-dollar order through a payment processor.

Plugin Activation and License Checks

When you activate or validate a software license, the plugin generates a pseudonymous Biggie Boy Audio machine identifier locally, such as a BBA-... identifier, and sends that identifier to our license system. We use this information to activate licenses, enforce activation limits, prevent abuse, support offline license validation, help you manage activated machines, and provide customer support.

We do not send raw serial numbers, MAC addresses, usernames, or full hardware fingerprints to our license system. Depending on the operating system, the plugin may use local system information to generate the pseudonymous BBA-... machine identifier, but the raw source values used for that identifier are not sent to us as part of the identifier.

We may also store license information, a user-visible machine label, platform, product version, plugin build version, activation status, activation and deactivation timestamps, and related license records. A machine label may be sent separately from the machine identifier, may be the computer or device name, and is used to help you and support recognize activated machines.

We do not use machine identifiers for advertising, and we do not sell this information.

Payments

Paid purchases may be processed by Paddle. Paddle may collect and process payment, tax, fraud prevention, customer, and receipt information according to its own policies. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

We receive purchase and refund information from Paddle so we can grant, display, revoke, or support product licenses and downloads.

Analytics, Security, and Site Reliability

We use Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise signals where configured to protect forms, account features, admin tools, and license endpoints from abuse. We may use Firebase, Google Cloud logs, and similar tools to operate the site, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.

If Google Analytics is enabled, we may collect page views, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP address, and usage patterns. We use this information to understand site performance and product interest. We do not use machine identifiers or license keys for advertising.

We use Google Analytics only for basic site measurement after analytics consent. We do not use Google Analytics for remarketing, ads personalization, Google Signals, demographics and interests reporting, or cross-device advertising.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for account login, security, checkout, license access, analytics preference storage, and site operation. Necessary services cannot be disabled through our analytics preferences because they are needed for the website and account system to work.

Account sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication. If you sign in, Firebase may keep you signed in on that browser until you sign out, clear browser storage, use a private browsing session that ends, or the session is otherwise expired or invalidated.

Google Analytics is optional. If it is configured, we do not load Google Analytics until you accept analytics or save preferences with analytics enabled. You can update this choice through the Privacy Choices link in the footer.

We remember analytics preferences in browser local storage for about six months, unless you clear browser storage or update your choice sooner. When the preference expires, we may ask you to choose again.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the website, create and secure accounts, provide licenses and downloads, process purchases and refunds, deliver transactional emails, respond to support requests, send launch or product updates when requested, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, host data, authenticate accounts, process payments, deliver email, provide analytics, secure services, detect abuse, or support customers. Examples include Google/Firebase, Paddle, email delivery providers such as Resend when configured, Google Analytics when configured, and hosting or infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, to enforce our terms, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Sale, Sharing, and Tracking Choices

We do not currently sell personal information. We also do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any required privacy choice links or controls.

Browser Do Not Track signals are not standardized, so we do not respond to them as a separate control. Where legally required and technically supported, we will honor applicable opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control for activities that qualify as a sale or sharing of personal information.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing products, maintaining license and activation records, supporting customers, preserving security logs, preventing fraud or abuse, complying with tax and legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

Some information may be retained after an account deletion request when retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, payment records, tax records, license abuse prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from non-transactional launch or product update emails by using the instructions in those emails or by contacting us. Transactional emails about account access, purchases, licenses, downloads, security, or support may still be sent when needed.

You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your account information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You may request account deletion or help deleting or deactivating machine activations by contacting support. Some records may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, license abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, request portability, withdraw consent for optional processing, or appeal a privacy request decision.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account, license, payment-reference, and support information. No website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

International Processing

We and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or they operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to third-party websites and services, including social platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X, and payment or support services. Those third parties have their own privacy policies and practices. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

California Privacy Notice

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and limit certain uses of personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing where applicable. We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.

The categories of personal information we collect may include identifiers such as email address and account ID, commercial information such as purchase and license records, internet or network activity such as logs and analytics events, approximate location derived from IP address, and inferences from product interest or site usage. We collect these categories from you, your use of our services, payment providers, security tools, and service providers.

To make a California privacy request, contact us at support@biggieboyaudio.com. If you use an authorized agent, we may ask for information needed to verify the request and the agent's authority.

Children

Our website and software are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as our products, services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
